Our Spring Programme of Creative Writing for Young People will start on Saturday February 4th, 2017 for eight weeks.

All you budding J.B. Keanes or J.K. Rowlings, take note!! Seanchaí – Kerry Writers’ Museum hosts creative writing classes for young people throughout the year.  The eight week programme of classes will take place from 9.30 to 10.30 am for children between the age of 7 and 11 years.

COURSE DIRECTOR

Classes are directed by Marion Relihan, a member of Seanchaí Writers Group & Listowel Writers’ Week, and winner of numerous writing competitions.  Marion published her first book of poetry ‘Skyland’ in 2014.  Participants will be encouraged to use their imaginations to create stories and poems, and above all the aim is to develop the creative spirit of young people in a fun atmosphere.

A fee of just €55.00 will apply and all writing materials will be provided to participants.  Places are limited so booking is advisable to secure a place on the course.  So this is an ideal opportunity to develop a piece of work for Listowel Writers’ Week children’s competitions
